Civil War Days weekend is being held the weekend of May 20, 2011 in Green Springs Ohio. ****PLEASE NOTE: we have moved our location to the North Campus of Elmwood at the Springs. ***  

Schedule of Events 

Thursday –Set up for school day exhibitors after 5:00 pm 

Friday –School Days ~ Green Springs 5^th grade Elementary class

Home schooled children are welcome 

Saturday –       Flag raising @ 8:30 am

                        Wynn-Reeth 5K run @ 9:00 am

                        Elmwood Kid’s races @ 10:30 am

                        Buggy Rides starting @ 9:00 am and throughout the day $2.00 per person

                        Civil War era kids games throughout the day 
                        Scavenger hunt throughout the day – all are welcome

                        Ladies Victorian Tea @ 11:30 am $3.00 per person bring your own cup

                        Civil War Veteran tribute @ 2:00 pm in Village Cemetery

                        Battle in the Field @ 3:30 pm

                        Pie Contest/Auction @ 4:30 pm – 2 pies please

                        Supper @ 5:30 pm

                        Ball – featuring Inheritance @ 7:00 pm

                        Lantern Tour @ 9:00 pm

                        Night Canon fire @ 9:30 pm

Sunday            Breakfast @ 7:30 am

                        Church at the Gazebo @ 10:00 am

                        Closing ceremony @ 1:00 pm

                        Battle in the field @ 2:00 pm

Local food vendors open throughout the weekend, area crafters selling their wares and Civil War Sutler row.
