Stemtown Historical Society - Civil War Event

If anyone has an American flag that they would like to retire, they can drop the flag off at the Green Springs Banking Center of the Croghan Colonial Bank.  We are collecting old flags and they will be properly destroyed at our event. Stemtown will be open Saturday, May 18 12 – 4 and Sunday, May 19 1 – 4.

The Marine Lance Corporal Jeremy Shock Memorial Blood drive in Honor of Taylor Norman is Friday, May 24, 2013 at the United Methodist Church in Green Springs from 12:30 – 5:30.  You can make an appointment by visiting www.redcrossblood.org  and enter sponsor code:  JEREMYSHOCK.

Thursday ~ May 16
Demonstrators, vendors, sutlers, and school days presenters start to arrive
Set up toilets, garbage, water, electric, picnic tables, and trash cans

Friday ~ May 17 
9:30 - 2:30 School Days presentation 5th grade and home school children
4:00 re-enactors, sutlers, vendors are welcome to set up
8:00 registration

Saturday ~ May 18
8:00 flag raising at statue
8:30 officers meeting
9:00 open to public
Old Time Bathhouse open all weekend
Period kids games available

9:30 Rolling Thunder Chapter 5 Ohio arrival with POW/MIA Memorial

10:00 Artillery School until Noon

11:00 – 4:00 Photo shoot - $10 we provide outfit and scene you get a picture
